Lisa Attinger, Licensed Massage Therapist
I became interested in the field of body work in the 1990's. A good friend of mine, who was a successful massage therapist, encouraged me by saying "I had what it took to be a great masseuse". This idea stayed with me for years and I began to realize that I wanted to do more to use my talents to help others. As I started to learn more about massage, its benefits to the body and the spirit, I knew this was what I was meant to do.
When a client allows me to help them find relief, achieve more mobility and give in to a deep sense of relaxation, I feel the sense of giving to others. "Being of service to others" is a philosophy that I choose to live by and massage therapy helps me to achieve this philosophy in so many ways.
Lisa graduated from Self-Health Inc. School of Massage in 1998, class #969, and has been a professional member of the American Massage Therapist Association since 1998.
